UHPC
Ultra-High Performance Concrete

Unlock superior strength and sleek aesthetics with BetoKraft's UHPC panels, made for lasting impressions.

Ultra-High-Performance Concrete (UHPC) is a revolutionary construction material known for its exceptional strength and longevity. This material is birthed from carefully selected natural raw materials harmoniously packed together to create a blend of exceptional compressive and flexural strength. One of the striking features of UHPC is its compressive strength, which exceeds 100 MPa, making it an excellent choice for modern and demanding construction projects.

What Is?

At the core of UHPC's superior durability lies its meticulous composition. Its low water to binder ratio and optimized particle packing, including a special selection of fine and ultra-fine particles, result in a dense microstructure. This density significantly reduces water absorption and, by extension, the material's susceptibility to environmental degradation, substantially increasing its service life. The Class A1 incombustibility of UHPC further augments its thermal qualities and temperature stability, making it highly resistant to various weather and thermal conditions.

The durability of UHPC is complemented by its superior abrasion resistance and dimensional stability. It's this robustness that allows UHPC to stand resilient against high physical impact and wind loads. Moreover, the fiber content in UHPC provides matrix ductility and improved flexural strength, factors that contribute to its overall structural integrity.

A notable feature of UHPC is its capability to be molded into thin panels, as slim as 10 mm, without compromising on strength. These light panels, backed by excellent mechanical features, not only ensure a long lifespan - with a minimal thickness loss of 1 mm over 60 years - but also offer superior surface quality. The aesthetic versatility of UHPC allows for customizable texture and color, providing a canvas for modern architectural expressions.

Format

BetoKraft offers standard panel sizes of 1200mm x 3600mm, 1200mm x 2400mm, and 1200mm x 1200mm, each thoughtfully designed to cater to diverse architectural needs. Our 15mm-thick panels, pre-drilled for undercut types of concealed fastening, are prepared to ensure easy installation, reflecting our commitment to creating user-friendly products. We offer different types of assembly methods for different panel thicknesses. For 10, 15, or 20 mm panels, we offer clip types of concealed fastening. For 10 mm panels we offer a visible fastening system with rivets. Recognizing the varied needs of different projects, BetoKraft assures flexibility in installation with our options for both concealed and visible fastening methods. Clients can select from concealed fastening, utilizing undercut anchors, clips, or adhesives, or opt for visible fastening with rivets, each designed with the distinctive BetoKraft quality and ease of installation in mind. Furthermore, we understand that every project is unique, which is why we also offer special production options. Tailoring our production to your specific project dimensions, we’re not just suppliers but your partners in bringing your architectural visions to life."

BetoKraft UHPC Panels İstanbul

High Strength

Compressive Strength: UHPC has an exceptional compressive strength, exceeding 100 MPa, making it significantly stronger than traditional concrete.

Flexural Strength: Due to its dense microstructure, it also exhibits superior flexural strength, which allows it to resist bending and cracking.

Durability

Abrasion Resistance: The high density of UHPC makes it highly resistant to wear and abrasion.

Corrosion Resistance: UHPC's low permeability helps to prevent the ingress of corrosive agents, thus enhancing its resistance to corrosion.

Freeze-Thaw Resistance: It performs excellently under freeze-thaw cycles owing to its low porosity.

Low Permeability

UHPC’s compact microstructure reduces its permeability significantly which helps in protecting the reinforcement and extending the structure’s life.

High Density & Low Porosity

UHPC has a high density and low porosity due to the optimized particle packing and low water-binder ratio. This also contributes to its durability.

Improved Aesthetics

UHPC can be produced with a high-quality surface finish, with a variety of textures and colors. It’s ideal for architecturally demanding structures.

Fire Resistance

UHPC is classified as a Class A1 incombustible material, indicating superior fire resistance.

Thermal Stability

UHPC exhibits good thermal stability which makes it suitable for use in environments with fluctuating temperatures.

Long Lifespan

The properties like high strength, low permeability, and abrasion resistance contribute to UHPC's long service life.

Green & Respectful

Highly optimized usage of natural mineral raw materials and efficient concrete consumption enables reducing carbon footprint to a minimum degree. Also due to its thinner and lighter structure, it is possible to ship more panels in a box and it is possible to use less construction equipment and machinery to install. Together with its long lifespan and low maintenance necessity, UHPC is a great green solution respectful to our world.
